one at a time. Before you play it, notice how
loud the day is in your head. Then notice after.
Pick a feeling. Find its shape on the map. Play it.
Aura's notes are drawn as stars on a map inside the book. Small groups of them are constellations, and each one has a feel.
First Light. Two notes climbing. Bright, awake, morning.
North Star. The two notes that sound most like home. When you don't know what to play, play these.
Moonrise. Low notes, close together, slow. The last thing before the lamp goes off.

The sound temples have used for centuries, built into stainless steel you can hold in one hand.
Cut. A sheet of stainless steel, cut and shaped by hand.
Voiced. The notes are cut into the top one by one, and the sound diffusers are set inside.
